About Us
Hello, I’m Amanda, and my passion for animals and working with them has been a lifelong journey. Since beginning my career in zoos back in 2009, I’ve gained extensive qualifications, including an ND in Animal Management, a BSc in Animal Behaviour and Training, and a Certificate in Education for teaching. I’m a qualified Animal Management Lecturer, and absolutely love teaching and sharing my knowledge with others.
What I love most is combining my passion for animals with education. This led to the creation of Amanda’s Creature Comforts, where I’ve been able to bring together my experience in animal care and my love for teaching.
We’re now incredibly proud and excited to be a registered centre for the awarding body AQA, delivering the AQA Unit Award Scheme across the UK. This unique program allows people of all ages, skills, and abilities to engage with learning and have their achievements formally recognised. We support your learning in all topics and subject areas, assisting in your learning journey!
Our collection of amazing animals continues to grow and evolve, and all are handled with care and ease. We are fully insured, licensed, and equipped to meet your needs, whatever they may be!

All animals are handled and presented by experienced, classroom confident animal handlers, qualified in animal behaviour and training, zoo keeper experience and with teaching qualifications!
