Terms and Conditions- ALL BOOKINGS

Bookings

A booking is confirmed once a date has been agreed and confirmation has been received.

Full details of the session, including location, timings, and requirements, must be agreed in advance.

Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Unless otherwise agreed:

Payment must be made prior to the session 

Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking 

Cancellations

By the Client:

Cancellations made with more than 14 days’ notice – no charge 

Cancellations within 14 days – 50% of the booking fee 

Cancellations within 48 hours – full fee payable 

Legal action will be sought for miss payments.

By Amanda’s Creature Comforts:

In the unlikely event of cancellation due to illness, extreme weather, or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be offered where possible or a full refund provided.

Animal Welfare

Animal welfare is prioritised at all times.

Amanda’s Creature Comforts reserves the right to:

Adjust sessions where necessary 

Remove animals from a session if required 

End a session early if welfare is compromised 

Indoor & Outdoor Setup

Sessions can be delivered indoors or outdoors (weather permitting).

For outdoor bookings, a suitable gazebo or marquee with sides must be provided to protect the animals and equipment. This must be large enough to allow safe setup and delivery of the session.

Health & Safety

All sessions are delivered in a controlled and supervised manner.

The client is responsible for:

Ensuring a suitable and safe environment 

Supervising participants at all times 

Following all guidance provided during the session 

Access to handwashing facilities must be available.

Clear guidance is provided during sessions, and handwashing is required before and after animal interaction.

Amanda’s Creature Comforts accepts no responsibility for incidents resulting from failure to follow instructions.

Venue Requirements

The client must provide:

A suitable indoor or outdoor space 

Adequate room for safe setup and delivery 

Protection from extreme weather if outdoors 

If the environment is deemed unsuitable, the session may be adapted or cancelled.

Parking & Access

Suitable parking must be available at or near the venue to allow for safe unloading and setup.

If parking is not available on arrival, this may impact the ability to deliver the session. In such cases, the full booking fee may still apply.

Behaviour

Sessions are designed to be calm and controlled.

Disruptive or unsafe behaviour may result in:

Restricted interaction 

Removal from the session 

Early termination if necessary 

Liability

Amanda’s Creature Comforts is fully insured and operates in line with current regulations.

All reasonable steps are taken to ensure safety; however, interaction with animals carries inherent risk.

Photography

Photos may be taken for promotional use unless the client requests otherwise in advance.

Weather Conditions

Animal welfare and safety always come first.

If weather conditions are unsuitable for safe transport or delivery of the session, this may require postponement. In such cases, an alternative time or date will be offered where possible.

If you have concerns about weather conditions at your venue, please make contact as soon as possible.

Agreement

By confirming a booking, you agree to these terms and conditions.
