How sessions are delivered

This is not open-access animal handling.

Sessions are:

  • Structured and led throughout
  • Fully supervised at all times
  • Designed to be calm and controlled
  • Adapted to suit group size and needs
  • Focused on both learning and welfare

This creates a safe, positive environment where pupils can engage, ask questions, and build confidence.

SEN & Specialist Provision

Sessions are well suited to SEN and specialist settings.

With experience working with a wide range of additional needs, sessions can be adapted to provide:

  • Calm, low-pressure interaction
  • Sensory engagement
  • Flexible pacing
  • Individual support where needed

The focus is always on creating a safe and inclusive experience for every participant.

AQA Accreditation

As a registered AQA Unit Award Scheme centre, structured learning outcomes can be incorporated into sessions.

This allows schools and organisations to provide recognised achievement for pupils, supporting both engagement and progression.

Logistics

Sessions can be delivered:

  • As single workshops or full-day visits
  • As part of a themed learning topic
  • As ongoing programmes or enrichment sessions
