The Unit Award Scheme is a unique way to record learner achievement
The Unit Award Scheme (UAS) allows all students to engage with learning and have their achievements formally recognised.
Learners are rewarded with a certificate each time they successfully complete a unit of learning. They can build up a portfolio of certificates to evidence their skills, knowledge and experience.
The scheme boosts confidence, increases engagement and improves motivation, helping learners to make progress on their lifelong learning journey.

We recognise through our own experience of teaching in the classroom, that this environment does not fit all, and by offering the AQA Unit Scheme Award, you can design your own bespoke curriculum that engages, excites and challenges learning.

How It Works
We provide practical workshops within the North East which are tailored in delivering specific AQA Unit Awards. Each workshop runs for a full academic term so taking advantage of the full learning experience and allowing children to develop themselves and skills for adult life. Groups are put together to suit different age groups so your child will be surrounded by similar ages unless you specifically request otherwise.
The AQA Awards are suitable for everyone including, but limited to, home education groups/individuals, main stream/SEN educational establishments.
If you do not wish to attend any practical lessons, you are more than welcome to complete units at home in your own time. We ask for you to send in all work for each unit you have completed for marking. We can then apply for certification on your behalf.
The step by step process follows as this:
1. Attend in person or complete at home in your own time.
2.Complete any tasks set by our trained teaching staff (practical lessons only).
3. Return work for feedback and marking.
4. Once all work for the AQA Award unit has been completed to teaching staff's satisfaction, we send in our claims form for your certificate.
5. We receive your certificate and post out to you after AQA's approval.

Our team of experienced educators are passionate about helping students succeed. We are qualified teachers and can offer support and guidance to your online/ at home studies.
